The gison3dmap software is provided with the ArcGIS client for ArcGIS version 9.x, and requires at least a ArcGIS ArcView license.
If you are a ArcGIS user you can start immediatelly to use the ArcGIS client to project your geographic vector layers using a gison3dmap system.
The gison3dmap ArcGIS client adds the gison3dmap toolbar to the standard ArcGIS interface, and implements the following tasks:
- Connect to the gison3dmap controler
- Project the selected features of the selected vector layer
- Project all the features of the selected vector layer,
- Project all the features of all the vector layers in a group layer, from bottom to top,
- Issue gison3dmap commands using a command line window,
- Enable/disable commands logging,
- Clear the projection.
Vector layers can be standard layers, selections layers or layers with query definitions, and are projected on the 3D map using the layer legend and symbology definitions.
Selected features are projected using the project selection color or the specific layer selection color, if defined.
Image and grid layers are supported via the command line window. |
